Missing metadata to state contributing organisations to Dataset

AHEAD, the European Archive of Historical EArthquake Data, is organized with central node run by INGV that collects, organise and make accessible data on the Internet, and 16 additional European organisations that contribute their data adopting a variety of solutions.

The turtle file allows us to state the publisher of the Dataset (INGV), whereas we are unable to list anywhere the different role of contributing 16 organsations. The visual result is that the contributing organisations does not appears anywhere in the popup information image

I would suggest two alternative solutions.

  1. [preferred] Extract the information on authors and contributors from the metadata associated to the DOI, which are two distinct lists in the DataCite schema. Mind that DataCite support the very useful "contributorType" in their metadata schema. Taking the information from the DOI metadata would satisfy the principle "describe once, use many times", avoiding potential errors or out-of-sync metadata due to manual re-entering of information.

  2. Add the support of the Dublin Core "contributor" tag for the Dataset element, providing a way to additionally specify which is the role of each contributor, reflecting the approach adopted by DataCite in their metadata schema.
